After 10 years of moving regularly, Justine decided with her husband to return to their native Lorraine, the land where they met and their families. He sets their sights on a house in a village high up in the mountains, with an incredible view. This former military building has been rehabilitated and separated into several houses. The icing on the cake is that their new home is located in a forest where the wind gently rushes through the trees.

Sleek softness

On her Instagram account, Justine shares numerous photos of her home and family life. Among the main actors are Paul, 5, and Côme, 6 months old. The family embarked on a long series of works in order to make it the cocoon of their dream. “I am a homebody by nature. I like my interior to be refined, but with life,” Justine tells us.

The young woman has chosen a very soft atmosphere, where white is the main canvas. Her recipe? The light walls sit side by side with parquet floors sometimes painted white or green, sometimes left in their original light wood. This harmony is reinforced by the addition of textiles in natural materials, such as rugs. As you can see, the color palette adopted is deliberately limited. Touches of green or blue appear here and there, as well as graphic wallpaper.

Children's rooms

When asked how she thought of her children's room, Justine tells us her tips: “My big Paul is starting to have a lot of ugly toys... I immediately thought about storage! Her bed is custom made, with drawers to hide the clutter. They allow us to tidy up his room in a few seconds. The walls are white and beige to let your imagination run wild and not stay in a single universe. At 5 years old, we like a lot of things, especially my curious Paul.”

For her baby, Justine was inspired by the view from her room overlooking the forest. “I chose nice wallpaper, wood, animals, animals, stuffed animals, cute Olli Ella objects and especially a beautiful Charlie Crane bed. ” Justine anticipates and recycles her furniture “Her old antique wardrobe belonged to her brother. For the changing area, I opted for a Charlie Crane wall-mounted changing table and storage space.” Thus, when he grows up, Como will be able to have free access to his games.

A serene hideaway

You guessed it, Justine doesn't like overabundance or visible clutter. ” I am not a maniac, but I like to keep everything hidden. It saves me a certain burden.” And when you have two children, this visual load comes quickly. Once again, the young woman shares her tips with us. “In decoration, you have to listen to each other and not necessarily follow trends. Not spreading too much also helps to avoid overloaded decor, as well as storage.”
